Blockchain transactions may be publicly accessible and immutable. You acknowledge that since blockchain is an open-source system, your transaction records are automatically public and transparent on the blockchain.
You confirm that your Account Password, Private Key, Mnemonic Words, and Keystore on CoinW are not stored or synchronised on CoinW Exchange’s servers. CoinW Exchange cannot restore your Account Password, Private Key, Mnemonic Words, or Keystore.
After you link to third-party-developed DApps from CoinW Exchange, your Personal Information will be collected and held by those third-party DApps and not by CoinW Exchange.
To the extent permitted by applicable laws and regulations, CoinW Exchange may collect and use the following Personal Information without your prior consent or authorisation:
information related to national security and national defence;
information related to public security, public health, or significant public interests;
information related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial and enforcement;
Personal Information that you have voluntarily made public (processing shall be limited to what is necessary and conducted in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including transparency obligations);
Personal Information collected from legitimate public sources, such as news reports, government information disclosure, and other channels;
Personal Information necessary to maintain the security and compliance of services, such as detecting or resolving malfunctions; or

You may add or delete Tokens, transfer and collect Tokens using the “Assets” column.

In the “Feedback” column, you may submit any questions or suggestions for CoinW Exchange at any time.

CoinW will use a variety of security technologies and related management systems to minimise the risks of your information being leaked, damaged, misused, or subject to unauthorised access, disclosure, or alteration.
CoinW has established the Personal Information Protection Responsibility Department to conduct personal information security impact assessments. CoinW has adopted minimum authorisation principles for staff who may have access to your information, systematically monitors the handling of your information, and continuously trains staff on relevant laws, regulations, and privacy safety guidelines.
We will send you messages about information security in the “Notifications” column and update articles concerning the use of account and information protection on CoinW Exchange for your reference.
Be sure to keep your account password, private key, mnemonic words, Keystore and other identity elements secure. When you use the Services, CoinW Exchange will identify you through your login information and other identity elements. If you find that your login information and/or other identity elements may or have been leaked, please contact us immediately so that we can take appropriate action to avoid or mitigate any loss.
We retain your Personal Information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with legal or regulatory obligations, and to resolve disputes. The following indicative retention periods apply:
After the applicable retention period, Personal Information will be securely deleted or anonymised.

Purpose of collection: Your personal data (including IP address and device information) is collected for the purposes of providing CoinW Exchange services, verifying your identity, preventing fraud, complying with applicable laws and regulations, improving our services, and communicating with you.

Voluntariness: Provision of your personal data is voluntary. However, if you do not provide the required information, we may be unable to provide you with certain services.

Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 18.
However, where processing of Personal Information is based on consent in relation to information society services, and the user is below the age of 18 (or such lower age as permitted under applicable EU Member State law), such processing shall be subject to verifiable parental consent in accordance with Article 8 GDPR.
CoinW does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a minor, we will take steps to delete such data promptly.
After you link to third-party-developed DApps from CoinW, the privacy policies of those DApps will apply. The collection and use of your Personal Information by the third-party-developed DApps will be controlled neither by CoinW nor by this Policy. CoinW is unable to guarantee that the third-party DApps will take Personal Information protection measures as required by CoinW.
You shall carefully select and use third-party-developed DApps and protect your Personal Information. Where Users access third-party services, such third parties act as independent data controllers. CoinW is not responsible for their processing unless it determines the purposes and means of such processing jointly or acts as a processor.
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND ACCEPT THAT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, COINW WILL ADOPT MEASURES AS REASONABLE AS POSSIBLE TO PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION UNDER CURRENT TECHNIQUES ON AN “AS IS”, “AS AVAILABLE” AND “WITH ALL FAULTS” BASIS, TO AVOID THE DISCLOSURE, TAMPERING OR DAMAGE OF INFORMATION. SINCE COINW TRANSFERS DATA WIRELESSLY, COINW MAKES NO GUARANTEE ON THE PRIVACY AND SECURITY OF WIRELESS INTERNET DATA TRANSFERRING.
If you are a User outside of the EU, you shall fully understand and conform to the laws, regulations and rules in your jurisdictions which are relevant to the use of CoinW.

Purpose of collection: Your personal data (including IP address and device information) is collected for the purposes of providing CoinW Exchange services, verifying your identity, preventing fraud, complying with applicable laws and regulations, improving our services, and communicating with you.
Transfer of data: Your personal data may be transferred to CoinW’s affiliates, service providers, and regulatory authorities as described in Section 7 of this Policy.
Voluntariness: Provision of your personal data is voluntary. However, if you do not provide the required information, we may be unable to provide you with certain services.
Access and correction: You have the right to request access to and correction of your personal data held by CoinW. Requests may be directed to [email protected].
If you are located in the UAE, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection (“PDPL”) applies. CoinW processes your personal data on the basis of your explicit consent or other lawful bases under the PDPL. If you are located within the Dubai International Financial Centre (“DIFC”) or Abu Dhabi Global Market (“ADGM”), the respective data protection laws of those free zones shall apply.
Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 18.
However, where processing of Personal Information is based on consent in relation to information society services, and the user is below the age of 18 (or such lower age as permitted under applicable EU Member State law), such processing shall be subject to verifiable parental consent in accordance with Article 8 GDPR.
CoinW does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a minor, we will take steps to delete such data promptly.
After you link to third-party-developed DApps from CoinW, the privacy policies of those DApps will apply. The collection and use of your Personal Information by the third-party-developed DApps will be controlled neither by CoinW nor by this Policy. CoinW is unable to guarantee that the third-party DApps will take Personal Information protection measures as required by CoinW.
You shall carefully select and use third-party-developed DApps and protect your Personal Information. Where Users access third-party services, such third parties act as independent data controllers. CoinW is not responsible for their processing unless it determines the purposes and means of such processing jointly or acts as a processor.
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND ACCEPT THAT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, COINW WILL ADOPT MEASURES AS REASONABLE AS POSSIBLE TO PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION UNDER CURRENT TECHNIQUES ON AN “AS IS”, “AS AVAILABLE” AND “WITH ALL FAULTS” BASIS, TO AVOID THE DISCLOSURE, TAMPERING OR DAMAGE OF INFORMATION. SINCE COINW TRANSFERS DATA WIRELESSLY, COINW MAKES NO GUARANTEE ON THE PRIVACY AND SECURITY OF WIRELESS INTERNET DATA TRANSFERRING.
If you are a User outside of the EU, you shall fully understand and conform to the laws, regulations and rules in your jurisdictions which are relevant to the use of CoinW.
During your use of CoinW services, if you come across any problems related to your Personal Information use, you may contact us through the submission of your feedback on CoinW Exchange or by emailing [email protected].
You may access this Policy and other service rules of CoinW on CoinW Exchange. We encourage you to check the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy of CoinW each time you log onto CoinW Exchange.
Where CoinW introduces new services or processing activities that materially affect the processing of Personal Information, users will be provided with appropriate privacy notices in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Where required, consent will be obtained prior to such processing.
If there is any discrepancy between the English version and non-English version of this Policy, the English version shall prevail.
